COVID 19 GROOMING POLICY

Due to the current pandemic the way in which we work and groom your pets will be changing. We will be adhering to the guidelines set out by the government. Our appointment times will change slightly to enable staggering of customers and disinfection of the salon.
Anyone self-isolating, classed as vulnerable or showing any symptoms must not under any circumstances attend a grooming appointment.
We cannot be held responsible for customers contracting COVID 19 during there traveling to and from the appointment. We ask that to ensure the safety for all of us the following policy is followed.
Booking of Appointments and WALK-IN Services
We will only be taking bookings Via the Phone, during this time we will be unable to have customers on the premises to book appointments unless you are booking at the end of your current appointment, all social media bookings and emails will not be monitored.
Walk in Services will no longer be available this includes nail cutting.
Arriving for your appointment
Upon arrival clients must now stay behind the lines in the reception area to ensure social distancing. Extra hygiene procedures are now also in place, we ask that you bring in your pet and secure them to the wall using their collar and the hook up system, please take any leads, harnesses and coats with you.
Payment for your groom will now only be taken electronically or by using the card machine. This will need to be done upon arrival at your appointment, we do not normally do this, but we feel this will help aid in social distancing of our customers.
Before the grooming appointment begins, as a precaution we will mist your pet with an anti-viral, nontoxic, pet safe spray. Please note even though this is pet safe in the unlikely event of a reaction we cannot be held liable.
We understand that some pets may be very overgrown and we will try our best to keep to your normal styles, however if we feel that the coat is not in a brush out condition we will have to shave your pet shorter then desired.
We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our staff and our salon, but during these times we are putting in place more procedures, we will always be wearing full PPE , changing it at every appointment.
The salon will undergo cleaning after every appointment as will any equipment used.
Cancellations Late Arrivals and No Shows
We have a strict policy on cancellations and no shows, but we ask that during this time you please cancel appointments within 48 hours failure to do so will result in fees payable before any future appointments are made.
Any late arrivals will have to be rescheduled.
Only one client is allowed on the premises at a time. Times are purposely staggered to ensure this.
Collection of your pets
You will be given a collection time upon arrival and we ask that this is met promptly to ensure the safety of all customers.
As when you arrived, we will bring the pet out and attach them to hook up system, before letting you in to collect them.
Please lock the door when you come in to keep the salon safe from others coming in.
Before you unhook your pet please place there lead and any other accessories on them.
We understand that this will be time consuming and unusual, but this is the only way at this time we will be able to open and continue to groom our four-legged friend
